Ages 14 to adult.
At the Beginning level, VAF's Historical Swordsmanship classes for teens and adults give a broad overview of both the TWO-HANDED SWORD and the RAPIER. Once students have progressed beyond the Beginning level, they will choose which sword to focus on at the Intermediate level ... or they can continue with both disciplines! Whether studying Rapier or Two-Handed Sword, students will practice various drills to develop physical fitness, technique and theory, as well as participating in free fencing to develop their proficiency.
